Training 2026

Excitement, fear, and a longing for adventure. New faces, different personalities, all rushing to find their place. A lot of emotions were experienced the first days here at Global. Strangers turned into friends, who later turned into family. We all came together in Jeffreys Bay, from different parts of the world, all with our lives in a backpack and ready to be transformed throughout this year. In the first few weeks of training we learnt to wake up early, be flexible, and just get to know each other. We went to different camps, praying and ministering to kids of all ages. So...

Türkiye – His Perfect Timing

After arriving in Istanbul for the third – and last – time this year, the team stayed at a local church for about a week. The church is located in the Sultanahmet district of Istanbul, which is where the old city of Constantinople is located. This area is a beautiful blend of rich historical architecture and the convenience of a highly developed urban area. Although famous for tourist attractions like the “Blue Mosque” and “Hagia Sophia”, this district also holds “The Grand Bazaar” and bustling street markets which offered some more...

Russia – The gift of hospitality

Russia was not in our plans originally but through miraculous provision and guidance we got to visit this amazing country. The Russian people we had the privilege to meet at various churches truly know how to practice hospitality – just as we as believers are commanded to do. After a day of rest we were divided into three groups that went to three different regions: Krasnodar, Sochi and Anapa. ...

Georgia: Pioneering with Jesus

It was quite a long travel expedition to get here in Tbilisi. 38 hours in total. It feels weird to say we are in Europe after spending so much time in Asia, but a new beginning is always exciting for Globallers. The team had some time off in the beautiful capital city of Georgia, Tbilisi, where we explored Old Town, tried traditional food and stood in awe of the surrounding nature. Our big team split up into two, not into our usual teams, but into Purple and Yellow teams. The Yellow team left to their ministry point in the countryside as the Purple team eagerly waited to see what...

India

Luke 19:10 NIV“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Upon entering Delhi, as we anticipated, we had a culture shock. It took a day or two to adjust to our new environment, a lot like lost sheep except we know our good Shepherd is always close by or on His way. India was approached with some apprehension but we were about to be pleasantly surprised by our experiences. Our first week was to be spent in Delhi, a very busy city with a variety of religions but evidently all missing the one true God. Our host was a South African missionary that took us on...
