Global Challenge

our heartbeat is missions

Adventurous. With joy. A life like no other.

All it took was two words from Jesus to call his disciples into the greatest journey of human history: “Follow Me.” Today, His invitation to us remains the same.

Our response is to go. To follow him into the nations, where we learn to become seekers, servants, and adventurers for the Kingdom. Jesus formed His disciples by traveling with them, and we believe transformation still happens along the way, life-on-life.

Our mandate is to make disciples and shape leaders – this is the foundation behind every program we facilitate and every team we send, both short and long-term – and on that journey, we discover that following Jesus is the life we were made for!

Global Challenge

the bigger picture

Global Challenge Missions is one stream within the broader Global Challenge organisation, based out of Jeffreys Bay, South Africa. Together, we focus on three key areas—missions, education, and community—each a vital expression of our mandate and impact.

  • God Seekers
  • Live to Love
  • Creative ventures
  • Travel Nations
  • Servant Leadership

God Seekers

Seeking God is about living lives that seek Him in everything we do. He is our purpose and our passion. The God of the universe said through Jeremiah that if we seek Him with all our hearts, we will find Him.

Live to Love

We aim to unselfishly love God and the people He has placed in our lives. Jesus said that the world would know we’re His disciples by our love for one another.

Creative ventures

Creative ventures refer to the spaces where God places us where we have to be creative. We intentionally use our creativity and imagination to serve Him in new and innovative ways. God inspires us with ideas. Our task is to obey them.

Travel Nations

We deliberately use simplistic means and circumstances to travel to foreign countries and nations where we’re dependent on God’s leading. We use opportunities He presents to share His love with people who might not otherwise have an encounter with Him.

Servant Leadership

To lead well is to serve well. Jesus (God Himself) is our model. We need to be willing to get our hands dirty so we can build God’s kingdom.
