The wheels on the bus do not go round and round. It is safe to say that our time in Tanzania started off with a bang. We arrived at the border in true African fashion; only a single day later than hoped for. This however did not show effect on moral to the news that we would be starting with our second Travel Challenge of the year. Egypt – A Three Course Meal Of Spiritual Food

Eastbound and Westbound had the privilege of staying together during the first half of our time in Egypt. More so, some of the staff and volunteers from Global came from Jeffery’s Bay to visit us in Anafora, where we did a Bible Study course, called Veritas 2. What a blessing it was to learn about the Old Testament while being in the place where so many of the stories took place! God came and filled us with His Word. The Bishop That Broke Our Boxes

Bishop Thomas walks into the room, and all forty-three of us stand. We’ve been waiting for this moment. He’s a revered leader in the Coptic Church, known for his long walk with the Lord and deep wisdom. Miracles in Malawi

After a long bus ride, Eastbound arrived at our accommodation in the early hours of the morning. We were welcomed by a lovely host, who stays on a banana plantation, and his seven dogs barking their hellos. This would be a time of beauty, hard work, and seeing Jesus in the little details of His Creation. The ladies helped with pruning the banana trees.
