Cambodia – Hearts Of Gratitude

We started our travel to Cambodia with the team of 19 being split into two groups. In the end, those two teams traveled for 5 days, spent 53 hours on the road, including busses and trains, crossed 2 borders while making our way across 1670km. We constantly thanked the Lord the that He had protected and provided for us during this time of travel. Thank you to all those back home praying for the teams as well, we appreciate it so much! Thailand – A Joy-Filled Blessing

When we entered Thailand, we found ourselves without accommodations. I received a message that night from one of my friends saying, “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, oh Lord, will keep me safe.” – Psalm 4:8. By the Lord’s provision and answered prayers, we found accommodations and were able to lay our heads on a bed in a room with air-con. Nepal – Listening to the Lord

Eastbound didn’t know what to expect when entering Nepal, but we were definitely not expecting the heat. We were sweaty and hot and often found ourselves praying for cooler weather, or a supernatural coolness to come over us. With all 12 girls sleeping in the same room under one ceiling fan, we can testify that the Lord had answered prayers those nights where we were able to get a good night’s rest. India, indeed, was an experience that will stay close to the hearts of Eastbound ’26 for a while to come. Our time in the Country of Spice started at a brisk 02:00 on a Wednesday morning. It is safe to say that we are gaining experience from—and building immunity against—the taxing effects that extended travel has on a person. That being said, we looked beat. Egypt – Being Spiritually Fed

After a nap in the Kenyan airport, we got on our plane to Egypt around 4:45am. Though tired, we were all excited to enter Egypt as our last country of the African leg. We arrived at our hostel where we stayed for a few nights, where they blessed us with comfortable beds, warm showers and breakfast each morning. During our time in Cairo, we had the incredible privilege of seeing the Pyramids while riding camels!
