Always a student...

Wow time really has been a great time with priceless moments and special encounters with Jesus.Colombia, these hands belongs to you God.I've experienced the healing hand of God once more, where God taught me the very important lesson to let people help me and that stubborness is a barrier to healing.Amazon boat trip, discovery 101What is love?? What does it look like?? How do i practically show love??  My security, where do I put my security?? Pink dolphins?? What?? These where the questions I had with stepping on the boat... It was quite a personal journey I went on.But then the fun side of the trip...Sleeping in my hammock - nice!! Getting breakfast in my hammock - even more nice !! Being on the amazon river on a boat in my hammock - the best!!!What an amazing few days that was... to top it off Jesus answered every question and gave me such a big revelation!!Touching ground again in Peru..  Part 1Blessings upon blessings! We served at an amazing church and the people there became like family again from the first day. Saying goodbye this time was harder than usual as I had to say goodbye to my friend who went back to SA. Still God is good in everything He does.Part 2Obedience!! I was asking God from the beginning of the year if I can go to machu pichu, but I just never had peace about going.  And a few days before we had the opportunity to go God said no. This was really hard because I really wanted to go and see this beautiful place. I chose to be obedient to God and stay behind while the rest of the team went.  In this I learned that God will ask you to do things sometimes that will be really hard and that will seem to you like it's stupid or meaningless, but God knows what He is doing. In this time I went with the pastor to go and pray for a girl of the church who had pain in her chest and had some other problems too. God healed her that night. THis touched my heart, if I had been disobedient to God, we would have missed the opportunity for that young girl the receive healing that night. * somewhere there is someone depending on you to do what God has called you to do.Chile you've been good to me! Having middle ear infection for the first 5 days being in Chile and having to go to the hospital to see a Dr I was a nervous wreck. I didn't know how much I had to pay for the consultation or the medicine and I'm missing out on ministry!!Jesus gave me his spirit of peace and he blessed me with the consultation and the medicine I needed.  Again I stood in awe of God!GOD has done so much with this little life of mine.Asking God to show me more of His love not only for me but for the people out there in the world also and oh boy did He show me. I learned from the holy spirit who of course is the greatest teacher. I realised again how big and great our God is. I can never put GOD in a box. It's just not possible!!!!There is absolutely no recipe for how God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit works, every time it's different and special in its own way.I want to be fully submerged in Jesus everyday! Not ankle deep, not knee deep or waist deep but fully submerged in Him from head to toe. I don't want to come up for air I want to breath under the water of who Jesus is.I don't want to drink from Him while only on my knees. I want to lei down and put my whole face in His living water and drink like that.

It brought back so may memories from home.Travel challenge 5 days 5 counties!! The piggy squat had a no rules, lets just go moto... that's all I will be saying about that one.. Jesus taught me a great lesson there. Hearing His voice is so important to me. I can not go without it!! I can not do anything without Jesus!! Panama felt like home to me! Gamboa is so beautiful and peaceful. I experienced the Holy Spirit moving and working in me and trough me. I experienced the healing of Jesus when my team prayed for me and Jesus healed me of my bronchitis. This was such a powerful and touching moment in my life.

ThIs heat got some beat...

So after cold and grey Russia we arrived in Cuba..stepping of the plane I was welcomed with the heat of the Caribbean and people talking, laughing and smiling. Driving out of the airport it felt like I went back in time. There is nothing modern in Cuba, everything is still the Same as in the 80's.  I was amazed to see how people just carried on living in that way. The music is everywhere and as you go you catch the one beat from the other one. There's people dancing in the streets in their houses in restaurants. Spanish lesson 101 : where is the bathroom PLEASE (Donde esta el banjo porvavor) is the most important sentence you can learn.  I had such a blast meeting up with the Gladois team and spending time with them. They are such amazing people of God. They give so much of themselves and expect nothing in return. I made a wonderful new friends especially Maggie. We had so much fun climbing up the Grand Piedra, we even hitched hike up and down! Hahahaha I don't know who prayed more for a lift me or her... We were blessed with amazing food everyday and had so much 1 pesO icecream luckily we walked almost 6 km per day 2 or 3 times..hint hint it didn't work... The 1 pesO icecream I carry now on my hips..lol..  From yaelin making really silly jokes and having a who can eat the most grand piedra icecream competition to sleeping in our hamocks on the roof of the church looking out over the Caribbean Sea then me buying a piece of land in the middle of the crossing road aka that means I fell down in the middle of the road with cherise and Jay walking on not hearing me scream and fall luckily Jojo came to the rescue after he stood and laughed at me for not being able to stand up, me and Jay pulling our faces really bad in situations we rather not speak of...sitting on the top of the church roof drinking coffee with cherise at night looking at the stars and having deep conversations about life and Jesus.. getting on the back of a motorcycle for a joy ride just for fun, being completely overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit... road tripping 13 hours on a old schoolbus/truck to get to Santeago and back to Havana, to getting baptised on the 22nd of Mei 2016 yaay and sleeping on the airport in a corner making sure there is a plug to charge our phones and boil the kettle in the morning for some cup of the coffee... laughing so hard that your tummy aches for 2 days..stepping deeper into Gods presense and His plan for my life!! what more do you want?? Sharing all of this with this team of mine just made it even more special. 5 months has past and I can say that this team is truly my family.  Thank you Jesus!

Wait!!!! Who am I??

This is a done deal!! Jesus is in me and I am in Him. This is who I am!! I am everything God said me to be. I don't need to search for it, I don't need to do something to get it. He already gave it all to me with the cross. All I need to do is release it! Release God in me trough His Holy Spirit.

Its all about You Jesus!

I'm standing knee deep, but im out where i've never been before. If you would have asked me 2 months ago if im ready to go out to the nations and serve, i would have said yes!! If you ask me 1 month ago i would have said no!! if you would ask me now, my answer will be, I trust in God that i am ready for i cant do anything without Him. For it is not about me and what i am going to do but it is all about the Father and His Son. My purpose is to bring glory to God in all that i do for Him and to know Him and seek Him with all my heart. Knowing that there is only 3 days left of training makes me nervous and excited... Jesus You make me brave, You call me out into the waves, no fear can hinder the promises that You make.I will draw near and hold fast...

Where do I begin..

Well where do I begin... The past few weeks have been crazy fun, hard, good days and bad days... The first week we got the connect with everyone...2nd week going on a "camping trip" that ended up to be 5 days in the bush with only the clothes on our backs and playing games to win some food...3rd week we are joining the school camp and having some fun with the kids from there we are building the road for the GLA School..week 4 and we are leaving for the Transkei to serve the people and give LOVE to the children. Week 5 and we are on our way to Cape Town to get visas and not only was this our teams first trip alone but also a place where i found myself at peace to know that i will be with this group of amaizing people for the most important life changing event in my life and i get to share it with them by my side.. so week 6 and we have Oom Gerrie and Tanie Anita come and visit us, AMAZING!! Discovering gifts and learning about the Holy Spirit then just when i thought it could not get any better Norm Wakefield join us for 8 sessions of MINDBLOWING teachings about the gospel... in all of this i have found amaizing friends, love and caring hearts, leaders who give only their best.. People who are not only friends for life but family...
